The event is simple: Write a fanfic of "Pirates!" (following the rules), publish, and add in the Fan Fic and Texts on DeviantGroup Pirates!, the top three will win prizes, including points in DeviantArt!

Below are the general rules (and simple) for fanfics. If your fanfic go against the following rules, it will be disqualified without further notice.

- Languages allowed: Portuguese (BR) and English.
- Dirty Language in Excess, or Dirty Themes may cause disqualification.
- It is Prohibited to use of emoticons ( eg: S2 / : 3 / = D / D ': ).
- Use formal language, ie without abbreviations ( eg: u / wh / brb / wtf ).

There are two methods of Evaluation, General and Final:

General :
- All FICs will be read in a basic form, and Spell-Checked. Then it will be given a rating from 0 to 10, if it is 7 or higher, it will be approved and re-read in the next evaluation, in which will be given new ratings plus the past ones. Then the top three will receive prizes.
: Focus: Grammar analysis, Spell-check, and Aesthetics.

Final Method of Assessment:
- The Fanfics will be re-read and given a new rating. The Top Three will receive the prizes.
: Focus: Grammar analysis, Spell-check, and Aesthetics, Plot, Coherence with the characters and Development of the story.
